Thanks to generous donations to BBF, 156 pallets—nearly 94,000 pounds—of medical supplies and equipment were saved from ending up in landfills. Instead, we partnered with MATTER to ensure these supplies were put to use where they’re needed most.

Through this collaboration, MATTER distributed the items across Africa, Ukraine, Turkey, and other countries, with many supplies included in medical kits designed for labor and delivery or general care in remote areas. These shipments support healthcare for women, children, and underserved communities, transforming unused resources into critical tools for healing.

By giving these supplies a second life, we have kept more than 46 tons out of landfills and reduced carbon emissions, demonstrating the power of partnerships in promoting both global health and sustainability.
