BBF Continues Support for California Wildfire Response with Fifth Shipment

As California communities work to recover from the recent wildfires, BBF continues to assist with critical recovery efforts. Our latest shipment, the fifth in our ongoing response efforts, delivered 100 air purifiers to the Anderson Munger Family YMCA to help improve air quality for those affected by smoke and hazardous conditions.

Since the onset of the disaster, BBF has mobilized significant resources to assist those in need. Previous shipments have included:

  • Hygiene Kits (6 Pallets) and Bottled Water (10 Pallets) were sent to the LA Regional Foodbank
  • N95 Masks (26 Pallets) delivered to the Foodbank of Southern California in Long Beach.
  • Freezer/Refrigerators (6), Compact Refrigerators (20), and Microwaves (18) were sent to Anderson Munger Family YMCA
  • Disinfecting Wipes (1 Pallet), Hygiene Kits (5 Pallets), N95 Masks (18 Pallets), and Safety Gear (2 Pallets) were sent to Westside Food Bank in Santa Monica

In addition to these critical supplies, BBF has provided $100,000 in grants to support food banks assisting wildfire-affected communities. We have also provided grants to animal rescues and shelters, including Pasadena Humane and the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, ensuring that displaced animals receive the care and shelter they need.

As recovery efforts continue, BBF remains focused on addressing immediate needs and supporting long-term recovery for affected communities. By working with local partners and providing targeted aid, we aim to help those impacted rebuild and regain stability after this disaster.
